The agricultural sector and food production areincreasingly striving to find answers to complexchallenges, among which climate change stands out inparticular. The paper states the role of innovation in theagricultural sector, as well as the analysis of challengesin the sustainable development of the agricultural sector.From conventional to digital agriculture, the paperanalyzes all aspects in order to find the best solutionstowards creating a sustainable transformation of Serbianagriculture. Strategic investment in innovation is a linkbetween traditional production and modern, ecologicallyresponsible agriculture that will meet the needs of currentand future generations.
