THE MODEL FOR LOGISTIC FOOD CHAIN МANAGEMENT

In this paper, based on results of system analysis of matherial and informational flows in food preparation and distribution, created model for logistic management. The main objective of Model is optimal plan of food chain in the Serbian army. Model has been tested in VMA (Army Medical Academy) in Belgrade
By solving the mathematical model of linear programing, as the instrument of logistic management, it is defined optimal organization of preparing and distribution of food. Also, yearly, sezonal and monthly structure of meals is planned.
That plans had to satisfy needs of users, and to have a minimal total cost.
